It's done and being tested now. I'll be stopping today to see if I can get it back for the extended weekend. I'll let you all know when I do and I'll post pictures.
[QaUOTE=Dano523;1592313777]Ditto, and just wondering if the new motor has the built by plate on it it as well.

Where would I find that plate?
Got it back yesterday. Drove it around for hours. Seems to run very good. No issues as of yet. Had to take it and wash it. Looked horrible. It's been drizzling here all morning so my wash job didn't last but it still looks better than it did with oil all over the front end from the geyser of oil that came out of it when he fired it up and blew the engine.
I'll get a picture posted here shortly.
I'm happy for you, its nice when things end up going good for a change But they could have detailed your ride for you, you've been thru enough
NSF
Dwayne lanes general sales manager was embarrassed yesterday, said he was so sorry it didn't get detailed but he will make sure it's done when I bring it in for the brake in oil change.
I found this today. It's the original tag on the intake. The new engine of course didn't come with a new intake so it's still tagged with the engine builder. Lol
I sincerely love this forum and the people that make up the group. You guys are a great family to have. Thank you for following and giving encouragement. It means a lot to me. We picked up the car yesterday around 4pm and I can't stay out of it. We just got home and we have already put 450 miles on it since yesterday. I love this car and I love driving this car. Sun came out so the top came off so I could hear that Corsa music! Oh what tune they play. Stopped and visited the 2012 centennial edition Z06 and drove it. So sad, today marks its one year of sitting on Roy Robinsons lot. $59,818 is what they have it marked at. 9,xxx miles. Totally loaded. Mag ride and all. Beautiful lonely car. So if you know anyone looking for a stellar beautiful C6 Z06, please, let's try to find this thing a loving home!

Forgot to add, we stopped an the new Chevrolet dealer in Everett and they have a 2016 3LZ Z06 manual and actually reasonably priced at $90k, not a carbon package but black on black. We sat in it and the interior is nice and cool but we both agree we love the C6 interior and especially the gauges. I absolutely would not trade our cluster fo nothing. The only thing I'd like to upgrade is the steering wheel. The newer style with the Grand Sport badge in the center. I'm a C6 guy.
Ahhh, home at last, papa's smiling, and the world is right once again!
If your coming up for the huge car show in Everett tomorrow, you gotta let me know and we got to meet up. Can't wait to meet some fellow corvette enthusiast.
