slave question
so my car keeps eating slaves the last one lasted way longer then the rest . I checked the clutch to bell housing and it was 3.11 and I just did the slave an it was 2.984 . if you read from ticks website its within spec... how do you guys check these numbers ? what tools do you use and such ?

The slave was all fine an I let the fluid get really bad on me and then it went out .I'll get a picture of it

I tpoker apart my driveshaft to replace the couplers an I think the shaft is bent idk if that would cause this

What does the bearing support look like? You'll have to take the bearing and green cover off to get to it

I had a feeling that failed also. I wonder what failed first
Everything on that slave looks horrible--looks like it has been really hot for long periods of time

Idk . Car was on the dyno all dam day I should of changed the fluid before hand .then got it home an it started making a noise and it didn't take but 10 mins after that an it was gone

I measure the slave with the bearing in place right?

Yeah.
I highly doubt fluid caused this. The face of that bearing looks smashed in, wondering if that's what started it

What tools does one use to measure this .i used a micrometer an a flame pice of aluminum so I could extend it over even with it
