Ditto, and the only reason to swap out the manifold absolute pressure sensor is if you are going super charged, and need a 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor instead (depending on the amount of boost).

So when you are super charging, you need a sensor that is able to not only able to read the atmospheric pressure (14.7psi at sea level) going into the intake manifold, but the added super charger pressure as well.
