C6 one wire alternator

Anyone running a one wire alternator on a 05? I was told that it's not possible because it is controlled by the ecm.

Are you looking at running a Billet-Tech?
If so, there are a few folks here that have used them.

Not in particular. Maybe powermaster or tuff stuff. Any opinions will be appreciated.

Yep, two voltage wires out of the fuse box for GP input voltage sensing, and also the ECM wire to the OEM alternator to control is as well.

I just put a Mechman Billet-Tech 170 A alternator in my '13 today - by far the best alternators on the market, especially if you research what people are using in the car-audio world.

If you're looking to replace your alternator, I'd look into one of these very seriously. Completely plug-and-play.

Think I will polish or chrome mine this winter when I do the SC. Going to have the front of the end apart anyways so why not.
