Mike Stummer at Route 66 in Greenbrae use to be the one...but he moved to Hawaii. 66 may be still running with a different owner.
Haven't been back to Novato Chev in 10 years....maybe its changed their Vette Cert Tech back then was not so good.
FWIW even tire mounting and alignments are hard to find a competent damage free shop in Marin. Diamond Tire San Rafael seems the best of lot IMO.
You could "poke around" Sonoma Raceway (Sears Point) as I have heard others (not directly vettes) have gone to some of those shops for repairs....but I have no personal experience.
Factory service manual, doing it yourself and building a tool (jacking pucks, OBD reader etc) kit can be best and cost effective.

Rio Vista is it.
If you find one...let us all know....good luck.
Many thanks...I'll surely post if I do find something I like closer than Rio Vista...or I just may have to schedule a road trip.
I'm not confident with Novato Chevrolet. I take it to Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista and Rich takes care of me. Jim does all the mechanical work on my car and I have built a good relationship with them. Yes, it's about 1 and 20 minutes away from Marin, but I feel it's worth it.
BTW: Diamond Tire is the only tire shop in Marin I go to.
You can try posting in the Northern CA regional forums, but mostly likely will be referred to Abel Chevrolet.

Thanks for the response. Clearly the choices are few.
No ideas other than maybe ask CF vendor Mike Mak (TPSMak) if he knows of a friend/colleague up in Marin area. All the searches on here come back with Abel, or smaller shops in Pleasanton/Hayward, etc. If you do find someone, post it on this thread.

I live in rohnert park and the only place I take my car is to Abel Chevy.
They are a d walker but not your average dealer. They do mods of all kids. They did my A&A kit on the coupe and are doing my cam install on my grand sport in Monday.
It's far yes but rest assured your car is safe and getting the best in service and handling.
