The switch for the Cruise Control in my 2007 C6 has gone bad (works intermittently). Wondering if anyone has a guide on how to replace it. Is it complicated (involving air bag removal etc.) or an easy DIY project? Thanks in advance for any assist with procedure link(s).

Vehicle is a base coupe, with tilt/telescoping steering column.

The details differ a little depending on whether or not you have the telescoping steering column. My car doesn't, and when I did it years ago I recall it being pretty easy. You don't have to mess with the steering wheel. The 2006 service manual description of the non-telescoping column covers was all wrong, though.
tried to upload a pdf. let me know if you can't see it
Yes, the uploaded pdf is accessible. Wondering if you have the instructions for removing the cowling for the tilt/telescoping column shown as a separate item in the procedure you uploaded? (hoping I don't have to remove the steering wheel as is shown in the pictures)
