EML issue with NPP?
Had the car scanned but no codes either historic or current came up, but I had by then disconnected the battery to clear the light so perhaps that deletes all codes?
The car has been running fine for a couple of days but when I moved the car ready for a trip I switched the exhaust mode on the NPP to quiet and when I restarted up came the light again and its remained on since.
So finally the question: - where should I be looking on the exhaust switching system for a possible fault? are there sensors switches under the car? could it be the butterfly's aren't closing properly?any other suggestions.
Off for another scan later to see if that brings anything up.
Car details std 2008 LS3 convertible with no mods.
Thanks Mike.
No idea why the NPP switching would affect this unless its to do with electrical surge on the same circuit or vacuum drain, or simply just a strange coincidence, only seems to happen when the valves are closed.
Will post again with any updates.
Mike.
What a simple job for a change, 30 minutes start to finish including getting the car in and out of the garage, if only all jobs were so easy
