Just got the dash logic unit today and i am a bit confused about the boost portion of it it shows -12 at idle and it does not seem to go to a positive under boost conditions. This was one of the main reasons for this purchase i liked the factory look with out all the pod's. Any insight would be helpful
Do you have a map sensor capable of reading boost? If not that is the problem. It only shows what the stock ecu sees. If your tuner didn't properly calibrate the car to know boost, it can't tell you

Not sure the shop did not mention any map sensor swap nor did i see it on the bill. If this is the case i could be very costly to have it re tuned

The MAP sensor swap takes 3 min. Your tuner just needs to make two value changes and flash. No dyno pulls or driving necessary. They should not charge you for 5 min. job.

No retuning required, just plug in 2 values. If they charge you to do that, they are not a shop you want to deal with. They should gladly help a customer out that paid that much already with <2 minutes of their time.
Well gave the shop a call and they said they could sneak it in on Friday. I asked if there was a charge and for the tuning no but about 75.00 for the Map sensor.......Sound about right ??
It's a ZR1 sensor in the links. (CTS-V & ZL1 too). Where is the MAP sensor on your car now & does it look similar to the OEM ZR1 sensor?
You are 100% correct i just checked and it is at the left front of the intake.
So i can see the massive inflation on a part that takes 1min to install. trying to see if i can prime one before my appointment :thumbs
Check here, it may be helpful for the 2 numbers you have to change. Post # 9 has the stock ZR1 numbers listed for that MAP sensor. (same numbers listed under my tune as well).
