Default How to read and clear check engine light codes?

Is there a way to display check engine codes on the DIC? If so, how?

If not, how do I clear the code to see if it is a recurring problem or an anomaly?

No there is not.

Take it to any parts store/shop, or buy a code reader.

Or if you have an Android phone or tablet, you can get a bluetooth OBDII reader that reads/clears codes and also does much more. I got this one from Amazon and it works great..$22:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It works in conjunction with Android app "Torque".
