Default Driver Door Switch Problem

I have a 2010 Grand Sport convertible. The drivers door switch will not work and I have to use the manual latch to get out of the vehicle. The switch itself appears to be working as when the windows are up when you contact the switch they will partially open as programmed. Also the outdoor switch pad works properly and if you contact the inside door switch with the red light atop of the door still flashing the inside switch will work. Once the light goes out it becomes non functional again. Help!

The door switch bezel will pull out from the bottom.

So pull both door switches and swap there locations to start with between the two doors.

Did the problem follow the door switch, or stay at the door.

If the problem followed the switch, then pull the switch apart to clean the contacts on the bottom of the blue cover and the contact points on the board.

If the problem stayed at the door, then its the problem in either the connector for the switch (clean them with contact cleaner), or a problem in the connector wires inside the door.

Hence if the outer pull pad works correctly, then the problem is the inner push button switch, or it wiring/connector that leads to the same connector inside the door that is working correctly instead.

As for the buttons when they start to peen the paint, cheaper to just repaint them instead Hence once the paint is about dry, use a small drill bit to remove a center section of paint so the LED can shine through.
