Default Spark plug torque value??
Changing plugs in my car......they are in there very tight.....is there a torque specs for these being an aluminum motor? Or did my tuner just put them in to tight?

First, is the engine cold?...must be completely cooled down before taking out the old plugs. Torque new plugs to 11 ft.lbs. No anti-seize if you're using NGK iridiums.

They should provide a little resistance at first. Once broken loose they will be super easy unless they are cross threaded or were over tightened.

How many miles since they were installed?

Aluminum head, steel plug and no anti seize will make the plugs tough to remove because of galvanic corrosion

That's "old school".

Plug manufacturers now plate the threads with a plating compatible with aluminum. Google NGK.

#1 cylinder plug is much darker than the rest....just making sure nothing is wrong. Ie: compression test/scope

All springs looked good...didn't pay much attention to the rockers...but nothing stood out.
