If I were to install a cam in my LS7 will I need to adjust the valves and use a degree wheel to set everything or is it pretty much just torque everything to spec? Setting the timing is pretty much just lining up the marks on the cam and crank gear right? Thanks for any tips or tricks you guys may have.
If you aren't doing heads or haven't fixed the heads, that should be done first.
Heads are aftermarket Trickflows done by Tony Mamo so they wouldn't be coming off. Do you know if this would still require decreeing and if so is there a tread some where that goes over how this should be done? Thanks man
I got ya. So it should be a straight forward process then. Just making sure everything is torqued to spec. I'm assuming that the valves are not adjustable so there isn't anything needing to be set there either.
