2005 Flashing Climate control
Starting to get used to the new for me 2005 with only 25000 mile but still questions. Noticed several times lately the Climate Control readings will flash and I can't find out why. I check the book, try to turn up and down the AC *****, reset the temps but flashing continues till I shut off the car. Just happens on occasion, mostly at start-up. Air - Temps here are hitting 100 by noon often but the AC still blows cold and that seems not to be the case. As it is just an occasional occurrence, what do I do, as it is distracting??

That's usually a sign that the control unit is failing. You can find them on ebay and it's not hard to replace. I would wait till it fails before doing anything. Who knows, it may last a while longer.

While there is a slight possibility that unit will never completely fail, there is a much higher probability that it will die some day. Murphy's law says that will happen on the hottest week of the year and you'll be searching for a replacement for who knows how long while having no A/C in the car. So, I suggest you start shopping now and find a replacement unit ASAP so you'll be ready when yours does die. Just sayin'.
