Default standing start problem

Hi All. I have a C6 race car with a standard GM computer, LS3 , close ratio T6060 G/box. 4.10 diff gears. I turn the traction control off when I go on track (naturally)
When I do a standing start at the track the engine management cuts the engine power. the more revs i give the longer it takes to come back.

Does anyone have experience with this. When I test it on concrete at the work shop it lays rubber, but on an asphalt race track with hot gripy tires it shuts down.

thanks in advance.
PS this is Q 1 next question about suspension.

I would suspect that this is the Torque Management kicking in to keep you from breaking stuff ...

I turned mine off in the tune but I have an AUTO and not so sticky tires so I am not to worried .......

Shut the nanny stuff off and you won't have this problem. Pull the ABS fuse to kill them all.

shutting the nannies off will not turn off Torque Management

I have read into it quite a bit. I suppose I just didn't know it was something that would result in what he is talking about. From what I was reading, it didn't seem to be a dramatic thing.

**I have TM disabled in my tune so I have no idea what it feels like.

Torque management is applied to the shift on every gear change and can either be reduced/limited to either ETC or Spark or completely disabled in the tune.
This shutting down on the launch thing sounds more like traction control kicking in. I'm wondering if the OP is turning off traction control by pressing the button on the center console?

Incorrect tire size may do you in rear tires must be measure with a tape measure rather than going by advertised hight.

Or improper diff gear dial in.
.

after a break from racing I'm getting back to sorting this issue. What do you mean by diff gear dial in?
