C6 Z06 Springs on a Grand Sport?
Has anyone put Z06 springs on their Grand Sport or base model for improved handling performance? How much stiffer are the Z06 springs?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I can only speak from my experience, which is a front spring swap, (base rear spring is slightly stiffer than Z06 rear spring)
Background: My car has wide body and genuine GM Z06 rims, Z06 sway bars and Bilstein shocks. Swapped from base front spring to Z06 front spring.
Result: Noticeable but not "wow". It's stiffer, but certainly not a significant change. Though, the Z06 sways and Bilstein shocks may make the difference less noticeable, I'm not sure about that. Most noticeable difference is the additional stiffness over speed bumps and the nose seems to dip a little less in corners, but again, it's not a "wow" difference.

Anybody else know anything about Z06 or ZR1 spring rates? Who/where could I find info on this??

From another thread:
C6 Base Springs(lbs) Fr 420/Rr 657, Sways(mm) Fr 25.5/Rr 17.5
C6 Z51 Springs(lbs) Fr 526/Rr 645, Sways(mm) Fr 31.0/Rr 25.6
C6 Z06 Springs(lbs) Fr 531/Rr 782, Sways(mm) Fr 31.0/Rr 27.9
Sorry I was incorrect, Base rear is stiffer than Z51, but not Z06
