Running ruff sometimes
I have a 2007 base model, at times it doesn't want too move goes into a stutter motion. Has this happen to anyone? Is this a fuel or transmission problem? Any help would be great. Also sometimes will not go into gear.Will go into gear after turning engine off a restarting engine.

Need more information, hence could just be a loose coil wire or you need to clean the MAF and air filters, to a more complex problem with the trans instead.
As for the not going into gear, if a manual transmission, then may be time to do a ranger clutch fluid change to get new flesh fluid into the clutch system.
