I've been researching the MSRC system as mine seems to make no difference (Tour vs Sport) and the ride is firm, with every bump felt. I read on this forum about the stuffers, and while googling the topic found this article amusing.
Not sure whether anything is wrong with my car. I doubt it would be this on an 08, but I wont know until I get it on the ramp.
As the tires get older and more miles on them, the ride gets harsher.
Using runflats won't get you a soft ride compared to non-runflats either.
Runflats? My car has 'Accelera PHI-R' tires which are right up there with Walmart's best. Previous owner must have paid nearly $400 for the whole set lol
Gryphon:
The F55 or Mag Ride option operation is noticed in the more extreme driving maneuvers. Find the worst paved road in your area and you should be able to notice a definite edge taken off in the Tour setting. Now it's not going to give you a Cadillac smooth ride, it just takes edge off the bumps. Hit the twisties, and Sport mode significantly cuts the body roll. I added a Z06 front bar, Z51 front spring and Z51 rear anti roll bar. I was pleased with the changes. One of the best parts of the F55 option was the J55 brakes.
One piece of advice, so many reports of shops telling Mag Ride owners that their shocks are leaking and need to be replaced. Wipe the shocks down and go on with life.
