Mild or Aggressive cam???

And, good choice selecting a cam with 115 LSA ! (in fact boosted engines like yours do better with a higher LSA)
Go much lower than 115, and idle quality also suffers.
BTW ... The OEM LS3 cam has an LSA of 117 degrees and it is [not] advanced ... In fact, it has an ICL of 120 degrees (which gives it 3 degrees retarded)

That aftermarket cam more than likely has a smaller base circle than your OEM cam ... If so, that will require slightly longer pushrods in order to get the same lifter pre-load as you had with the stock cam.

I could say without a doubt, my cars drivability is near factory with a PTC 4500 rpm stalled converter. Like previously noted, you push the throttle down a tad more and requires a couple hundred more RPM to get the car moving. Well worth it and hardly noticeable. My car would snap your neck if I wacked it from a roll .

Will the VRSC-1 cam use stock length push rods or will you to measure and order those after the cam is installed?
Sorry I missed the post answering the question about push rod length.
Do you plan the heads to change the springs?

Initially I thought I was able to keep stock pushrod length at 7.400 now I'm not so sure I'll have to speak with VR and see what they say I need I have stock heads no work done to them I was going to get valve springs and pushrods when I get the cam along with an oil pump.

So I talked to the guys at Vengeance Racing last night to order up a cam. It's a good thing I didn't buy the vrsc1 or 2 being it's for ls3 engines and I'm a ls2. I ended up going with a FTI converter with a VRX4 228/230 .588/.592 112 +4 I'm upgrading my valvetrain as well. This can should wake up my car. I suggest Vengeance Racing to anyone in need of a cam or for whatever you are looking to upgrading on your vette next. Ron and David are great people very helpful and explain everything to you and will answer your questions. Amazing customer service and advice. I'm excited and cant wait for my cam/converter. Thanks again Ron/David @ VR! I'll be calling you soon for a transmission, and good luck in the 1/2mile racing this weekend!

@Farmington yes their sale is still going. I read your post with your custom cam and getting the wrong one. Call ron or david at Vengeance Racing they will take care of you and make sure you get the right cam. They will answer all your questions, great people I would suggest getting a cam from them.
