LS3 power issue

have a 66 vette restomod with a LS3 engine. Have 1400 miles on the build with no issues, Today stopped at a stop sign and the brake light came on and could not accelerate at all, car stayed on idle. shut the engine down and restarted 5 times and got power back. brake light stayed on, drove home, stopped hard and same thing happened, car remained on idle. any help would break appreciated
