Attaching two Fan Control Modules in parallel
#21
Yes, no, maybe. If you take a look at say trans springs in each group, the one for the A6 are a little stiffer than the ones for a manual car, since the A6 adds a little more weight to the car than the M6 trans.

The ECM modulates the PWM control wire to ground to control the speed of the fan/ pulse cyle of the PWM output to the fan.

So with two PWM's, that's twice the current to ground that the ECM modulation circuits is seeing/controlling through it, and nothing on the GM cars in regards to circuity is even close to rated for twice the amount of power going through them to start with.
Hell most of the gm circuity and even wiring, is borderline at best for the load its seeing to start with.

You can believe what you want, but it's a control signal, not a power circuit, and and has hardly any current, so using arguments about the capability of circuits that actually power components is completely off base.

Yup. It’s a minuscule amount of power and will be fine.

Agreed. Just happen to have a fan module on my bench. It measures 8.315 milliamps with the signal wire shorted to ground.
I would however provide a separate ground wire, 12V source , fuse and relay for the second fan and module.
