Default Exhaust ?

Should I put 3" exhaust on my 2007 ls2 m6 if I plan to supercharge this winter. I have Lg 1 7/8 headers and 3" x pipe already looking to buy borla atak, stype 2 or corsa extremes just want to get the right size for aprox 600 hp at the wheels. I would have to buy the 3" mid pipes as I have the 2.5 right now. Thanks.

Yes it would be better to have bigger piping for a supercharged car.

Contact us for pricing on exhausts!

With 1 3/4" LT's and 2 1/2" X pipe and factory 2 1/2" over axle pipe plus factory muffler mine made 650rwhp.V3 SI trim

2 1/2 inch pipes will be fine. More than big enough.

Default Exhaust?

Thanks for the replies. If i can get the 3" for a couple hundred less than the price of the 2.5" is there a reason to not buy the 3" ? Thanks for any help and info. I know now rhat 2.5 is sufficient just want to know if 3" will be a detriment since i found it for around 250 less.
