It is on when the car is off, so I would start with the interior light fuse that is under the passenger floor mat, I believe. If the it doesn't light up when you push the button, you know you have the correct fuse. It is easy to unplug. The wire runs thru the visor yoke and has a plug there that can be disconnected.
