Most folks seem to go with Bridgestone or Michelins, and about a tie between runflats and non runflats.

I haven't tried many, but I can tell you on my base model I swapped the worn original rear goodyears for michelin pilot sports 4s, and they were so much better the fronts are at the tire place now getting the barely worn goodyears swapped to michelins

Continental extreme contact sport ( the new ones)...Just as good as michelins for significantly less money. Holding my 600+ whp very well.

The only ones called 'extreme contact sport'. They look similar to the older DW series but are way better. Might still be a few of the older ones kicking around so I mentioned it. I've had good luck with Michelin in the past but I never really thought they were worth the price premium. I feel that the conti's are better than the pilot sports ever were but I haven't tried the 4s yet...again significantly more expensive than the conti. I'm making close to 700 ft-lbs of torque and the conti's are taking it really well..

Anybody tried the Bridgestone Potenza S007A yet? It's supposed to be their latest and greatest, about the same price as the Conti.

If your going to drive the car as a Vet (like you stole it), then PS4's.

If our going to drive the vet like a Caddy doing miss daisy on sunday leisure drives only, A/S tires will last a lot longer isntead.

I love my Bridgestone RE-71's, grip even better than the RE-11's.. but they wear out rather quick..
