OK found out it is some form of heat shield for a wiring harness but no idea where it goes on the car any one have any ideas where it should be placed?
Can anyone please help me identify this part? I have a 2005 Convertible and went to detail the engine and found this part laying near the header on the passenger side by the battery. I found this part and the door to the cabin air filter laying below the battery next to the header. Not sure what it is or where it goes. Please let me know what it is. Thank you very much for the help.

Mine fell out of somewhere when I put headers on. It’s been sitting on the bench for 2 years. I saw a thread a long time ago on where it went. I’ll have to look for it.
