I just throw out my dyno number to have some fun for the guys who dyno a lot higher, but don't race. It gives them the feeling that they are way quicker than they really are. They can lay their dyno sheet on the dash at the car shows and say they have more power than a guy who runs 10's.
Yup it's way more fun to have low dyno numbers and a fast ET than to brag about a nice dyno number but not show it at the track.

That's why I love when dyno queens ask me how much power I make. If we're going off dyno graphs I make 408whp. But the car hasn't been on a dyno in years and traps 140+ now.

Anyone have a similar build or have seen similar Vettes run that.
Mod List:
CNC Ported Heads
Comps Cam (227 243 113 LSA)
Lifters, Valve Springs, Push Rods, etc.
Kooks Headers
Corsa Exhuast
Vararam Intake
Tune
Like other have said yes you have more than enough power, but you'll need a tire. To get this done I have heads cam ls3 and went 10.74 on my 28" tires (which killed my 60). The car is quicker on a 26" tire all.motor but I had no plans on running off the bottle that day.

Plus track, DA, weather, etc etc all play a huge role. Can you run a 10 on a street tire in -1000DA on a perfect track. A hell of a lot easier than 10k ft DA on a slick track. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what it "could" run. Just go out and run it and find out.

Very true! I was in el Paso and the lowest DA we ever saw was 5400. My wife's 2015 ss ran a 14.2 there bone stock then I moved to nc and we went 12.6 on the same setup in a 3k da

Nice, my car has never been on a dyno. I just tell them its never been on a dyno. But I guess maybe 400hp if I am lucky. How is that 4000 on the street? I couldn't bring myself to get one that big for my car. What has been your best 60ft with it?

Even though I've driven about 45K miles with the 4000 stall, I wouldn't recommend it for everybody. My previous 3600 was much more street friendly. The best 60' with the 3600 was 1.54. With the 4000 it's 1.48 so far.

PLEASE buy a set of drag radials and go to the track and let her rip!
This!!! There is no one tire that does it all. Get what works and is safe or have an extra set laying around for track day
Gotta pay to play

I run FT on DR and unless youre cornering hard it drives just fine anywhere except heavy rain.
