I have a brand new set of Hankook Ventus V12! Not as sticky as Michelin Super Sports, but they do ok!
Problem with most autocross events, you come into the course with the tire bone cold for the single lap, and most street tire bone cold have only about half the grab than once warmed up isntead.
Due to this, better off swapping over to Hoosier A7's at the course, then pulling them off and putting the street tire back to drive home.
Fact is, the A7's are so sticky bone cold, if you tried to use them for high speed road course work where you would bring the tire up to road course race temps, would melt them in less than a few laps.
