Opinions on Kooks Jet Hot?
Moving towards Kooks headers.

If I installed headers I would go with coated Kook's.
The problem I see with headers is Heat.

Hey,

We can get you a great price on the Kooks setup or the Jet Hot setup.

If you want to get your headers coated, then go with Jet hot since its already coated.

If they are using Jet Hot ceramic coating, or doing similar in house, that is the way I would go. The coating is applied to both the inside of the tubing and the outside. The coating inside is the heat barrier that reduces your temps and keeps exhaust gas heat in the tube. The coating on the outside of the tubes is for appearance and does little for heat reduction. The coating is very durable, so it makes a great exterior finish.

Finally finished my Kooks header install and NPP exhaust on my 05 Z51. Great combination and Kooks fit and finish was top notch! Simply AMAZING results!!!
Still thinking about a cam...😀
