Swapping consoles, how the hell do I remove the cigarette lighter housing? I’ve got everything else remove and installed in the new console.....help.

Ive tried pushing in what appears to be two “ears” but they’re not moving.

I think I have one at home. I'll be at home in an hour or two. If I still have it I'll shoot a few pictures for you.

Don't still have it. But if I remember right, after I unpluged the wires there was a tab somewhere half way down the metal body that I had to lift with a hook tool.

With a little persuasion I got it out, ugh.
