Default Engine shuts off

Problem with 05 coupe engine shutting off randomly then works fine.
Under different driving conditions or just idling I will hear 3 chimes, the engine shuts off, the engine light and traction control light come on and the DIC shows 2 error messages "Reduced Engine Power" and "Service Traction System".
All other electrical items seem to work normally. I do the normal shut down. turn ignition off shift to reverse wait a couple of seconds then it starts fine and runs great till the next event.
Had a local auto supply shop read the error codes and it showed Error P0601 Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error.
What should I be looking for?

You should probably be looking for a new PCM...that’s not a good DTC to get !!... I’d check PCM power and grounds first though !!

What should I be looking for?

Bad/corroded connections at the ECM, the C186 and sister connectors, as well as bad/corroded connectors at the BCM and other modules.

Truth is, problem should be able to be solved with just a can of electrical contact cleaner spray and some dielectrical grease, and time to go throw the connector pins to clean them up if they are corroded and causing the problem. Worst case, could be wire to pin connector the problem, and then will have a few pins that you will need to swap out on the wires on the connectors.

Simply, if it was one of the modules went out, the problem would not come and go like it's doing, so screaming the the problem is the wiring and connectors between them instead
