Default Sending unit

My winter project is to replace my fuel pump and sending unit on my 2007 will a 7.0 fuel pump fix.

I'd also replace the sending unit while you are in there. Make sure you get the correct year sender. Might as well do the right side sender at the same time.

Yes. Years ago I installed a Z06 pump in my '06 Coupe. Both assemblies look identical, though the Z06 pump is a little bit louder.

Make sure to get the right level senders for your car. 2007 was the transition year from the old style to the new style. Most '07s are new style, but I *think* some early '07s may be the old style.

It's easy to test, just measure the resistance across the two wires of your existing sensor. If it increases with increasing fuel level, it's the old style (88967316). If it decreases with increasing fuel level, it's the new style (19149686).

That's my intention my sending unit is mulfuctioning so that's why I'm replacing both.

Good idea. When I do these, I install the left tank first, then the crossover pipe. Make sure the o-rings and retainers and all the seals and plastic retainers in the tank openings are installed correctly in both tanks. Lube all the o-rings and the crossover tube fittings.
