Default Headers: Bolts or Studs

Hi everyone. I’m getting ready to install long tube headers on my 2013 GS. For those that have done them, will I have clearance issues if I install ARP header studs as opposed to ARP header bolts? I’ve used studs on previous LS3 build(416LS3), but the engine was on a stand, so no issues on installations. This time I will be installing this on my back with the car high up on jackstands. Any suggestions and/or tips is greatly appreciated, thank you. And do I just order GM oem exhaust manifold gaskets?

I used ARP stainless 12pt /studs. Easy to hang the headers on the studs and start a couple nuts. Used GM gaskets and have checked torque twice, all good.
(I was on my back also.)

Thanks man. The studs weren’t on the way while trying to position the headers from the bottom?
Is it ARP 434-1301 part number? Thanks again, much appreciated.

In my personal preference the factory header bolts are the best for the job with their 4mm threadless hole locator and flange head they don’t come loose.
