Anyone have a pinout for the E40 ECM on my 2005 corvette? Specifically the C3 gray plug on the top? I pinned the ECU for flex fuel and want to double check my work as I started the car last night and dash is reading "oil pressure XXX". Want to double check that is is not affected by that connector.
I only have the 2006/2007Service manual, and thus I'm not sure if the pinouts are the same. I have attached the 2007 ECM connectors/pinouts. The ECM C2 connectors shows it as GY, so I've attached it. You can have a look to see if it is like yours.
Here ya go... this one is straight from GM's service software.
You da man. That matches up perfectly with the pic I have of the pins in mine. Looks like oil pressure signal isnt on that connector. I wonder if the sensor just went bad.
Yeah I suppose its possible. Car hasnt been started since October. I verified oil pressure at the turbo oil feed, and the lifters seemed very quiet, so I am sure it has pressure. Just seems strange it would go bad suddenly
Ah. Yeah they usually fail at max pressure so hopefully yours is just an odd case.
Mine says "oil pressure XXX" which i believe means there is no signal at all from the sensor. Same thing happened when i did my cam swap on my z06 a few years ago and bumped the sensor off re-installing my intake manifold. If there really was no oil pressure Im sure it would read "oil pressure 0psi" and I would have a very loud valvetrain haha

Ah, yeah that does sound like it's not connected at all then.. still not a bad idea to try a sensor while you're at it but yeah I'm sure you have pressure or you'd know it by now
