I've had a Vararam on my C6 for 10 years, and I'm still on the original unit filter. Each fall, I use 100# air to blow out the dirt, bugs etc from between the fin elements, and once they are all dislodged, I wash the filter with soap and water and dry it.
I then spray a coating of WD-40 (Vararam recommended) on the external side of the filter element, and I'm good for another running season.

I'm not looking for cleaning it... I'm looking for any other filter that suits with the vararam
Cleaning is your only option at this juncture if you can't get any company to ship you one.
Have you tried Summit racing in the USA. They have turkey in their shipping sku https://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/vararam
There are several other filters that with a minor trimming will filter a lot better than the original Vararam filter. You just need to take out the foam ends on the Vararam housing and then trim about .125" off the filter ends. I use a belt sander to do the trimming. These are all paper filters and IIRC the Amsoil uses Donaldson products paper media, however Amsoil is by far the priciest of the bunch. I've personally used all except the Purolater and I've posted this list several times. As you may notice by the similarity of part numbers, it looks like Fram makes the STP filters and Purolater makes filters for NAPA and WIX. After some research in 2011, I found that 2.5L VW's used a filter that could be modded to fit. If you can't remember the right numbers, just ask for a '05-'14 VW filter.
