Should net ~450 RWHP with great street manners and driveability for a Daily.
Presuming you have LTs allready?
Heads flow enough intake for 500 + RWHP but takes a rowdy cam to get there.
If anything for your goals, touch up on the exhaust, & small mill and shoot for
~11.2:1 Comp with tight quench (.035-.040"). Full port or aftermarket heads
unnecessary/overkill for your goals and budget.
Just my .02
Good Luck
I did Titan 2 on an LS2 with LS3 ported heads, rod modded intake and ARH headers. Awsome combo!

500hp to the wheels? This is what I did with my '95 Impala SS....through a 4L60E transmission.

1. Texas Speed 260 PRC Heads milled to 65cc combustion chambers.
2. Lingenfelter GT1-1 cam (229*/242*, 114* + 0*, .631"/.631" lift). Knowing what I know now, I'd have gone with the BTW Stage-3 cam (229*/244*, 113* + 3*)
3. Gwatney Performance ported and rod-modded intake.
4. 90mm V-max Throttle body.
5. 1 7/8" LT headers.
6. Hi-Flow Cats and a 2 1/2" cat-back exhaust.

And average of three difference dynos puts me at 495hp/440tq to the wheels......Daily driver!

My build made 503/458

08 LS3 w/44k miles M6
Spinmonster 230/234 .615 .600 114 LSA Texas Speed grind/lobes
GMPP CNC Ported LS3 Heads (stock compression)
BTR springs/pushrods
Johnson 2110 Lifters
Halltech MF103
Texas Speed 1 7/8ths LTH w/ 3 inch x-pipe
Vmax Ported TB

I finally got my GPI rod mod/ported intake manifold, going back to the dyno in 2 weeks. Hoping to squeeze close to 520whp/475wtq

I don't know, if max horsepower is the goal, the Lingenfelter cam might be better. I think with +3 advance, you'd be trading a little top end horsepower for better midrange torque. I ran a 234/242 112 +3 cam on my C5 LS1, and made 454hp/476tq at the rear wheels. BTW, I didn't know anyone had built an LT1 that would make that much HP naturally aspirated. Good job.

Not sure how an LT1 factors into any of this. The OP has an LS3 and plenty of those have made 500+ at the wheels (mine included) without too much trouble. KW's would be well over 500 at the wheels if he had a manual trans.

And yeah, DCR matters. It can be adjusted with cam timing as well as changing the static CR. Cam timing being the easier of the two.

Actually, I think KW may have done an LS swap. I looked up those heads and Texas Speed PRC 260 heads are LS3 heads.

It will be interesting to see how this one turns out. Hoping it meets or exceeds your expectations!
