Howdy. First post here. Working on my first Corvette and having a real problem getting the dang thing out. I can't figure out how to release the wiring harness lever in order to take the harness loose. I've searched and searched the net and the forum with no luck. It really should be obvious but not to me. I've tried pushing, prying, pulling and digging with no luck. Can someone PLEASE help an old geezer shade tree mechanic get the darn thing off?? It's 2006 narrow body.
Thanks!!

Press in the center tab so you can swing the lock lever forward.
Thanks for the reply. That looks to be a C5 unit. Mine is the C6 and has a blue clip. See pic. I've tried several times and ways, as you can see from the pic, with no luck.

The connector I showed is from my 2006 C6.
It's the same connector you're fighting with.
Here's a side view (what you'd see from the top of the engine bay):
Ah! So, it's blue on one side and white on the other. Does it matte which one you press on? I know, stupid question but I have to ask. Thanks so much for your help!!

Don't press on the blue or the white parts. Swing the grey lever forward. That releases the locks that secure the connector to the EBCM.
As you can see in the photos, you have to press down on the little black wedge to move the grey lever.
Very good. I think my lever is already loose from the black clip as I can move it some but it seems pretty hard to flip over. That's why I though there was some trick to the blue clip. I was reading about the C5 (a lot more info about those on line) and it mentions "removing the white clip." Thanks for all your help!

When you swing the lever, it slides the blue and white pieces inside the connector to unlock four little bumps on the EBCM side.
Your blue slider is a bit buggered up so it might not want to side. Just make sure the lever isn't stuck on the black tab, and give it a firm pull.
Perfect, seeing how the latch moves helped, There is a bump at the center of the housing on the right side that the latch needs to rise over then it all worked great. Thanks for the insight.
