Short answer is yes. Many argue they don't increase duration, only lift. Technically, that may be true. BUT-If they increase lift from stock 1.7 ratio, say from .590" to .615", you will now have increased duration from .591" to .615" lift, because there was NO duration before at .591"-.615" lift, because there was no .591"-.615" lift before. Hope this makes sense.......

Actually you'll have slightly increased duration everywhere, but its minor. Duration is usually measured at 0.050" lift, and with the increased ratio you'll get there earlier and stay longer, so your duration will be slightly increased. Since the lift at every point is multiplied by 1.059, duration everywhere above 0 will be slightly increased, but it will be increased more at higher lift. Your opening and closing points are unchanged
