I think connectors are the easy part; the hard part is going to be getting the unit out of theft lock mode.
The head unit needs to handshake with the BCM to verify the VIN In order to be functional.
Not sure how to simulate that.

If this is a unit thst you purchased or got from another C6, and it has not previously intiated the theft lock, you can temporarily and loosely install the head unit in your vehicle and test it out for proper operation with the following method.
"Use" Aux position only and you can try out the unit without any issues.
Once you put the ignition in Run, it will lock up, and only a Tech II can unlock it.
Some dealers will marry the new head unit to your Vin# for a nominal fee.
I've tried many Nav units to test the CD players, etc.
