Default Help!!!!

Ida flooded my garage to the depth of about 30". Probably lost my 2013 60th, 427 Convertible and my 2017 SS. Cannot even get in the Corvette. No electric in either the Vette or the SS. The SS has manual door latches but the Corvette has the electric pressure pads and I can't get into it at all. Is there an exterior manual bypass to open the door. Need to get both cars towed to assess whether they are salvageable.

Thanks for any help.

Adios,

cueguy

Sorry to hear of your flood. Use key to open trunk, then pull door release cable on left side.

This is a no brainer.... If you had 30" of water neither car is salvageable as all the major electrical components have been under water.

That means every wiring harness, fuse box and electrical component needs to be replaced if done correctly... and that's before you even start to add in the other mechanical and luxury components that need to be addressed.

NEVER buy a flood damaged car that has been salvaged unless you enjoy an endless stream of headaches and problems.

i would do nothing with them and contact your insurance....

if you move them or have someone mess with them, it could turn a basic claim into a major headache....

sorry to hear....

As others have mentioned, the insurance should be called. It will likely be a write off.
Too many electrical nightmares will follow this car around after being water logged.
Sorry to hear sbout this
