15” conversion with base model brakes

I am planning on doing a 15” wheel conversion. I have a ‘07 Z06 and I am wondering if I can get away with swapping to a base model brake caliper, rather than buying some expensive caliper kit. Has anyone out there done it? If so, was there any filing or grinding required. I know that there are tons of posts about the conversion already, I haven’t seen anything about this specifically though.

Yes you can,but the base rear calipers will have to be clearance a little bit.

Does anyone have any pics of where the base calipers need to be grinded on and how much needs to come off?
