I am looking to do coil over shocks on my base 05 C6 Coupe, the suspension has been up graded to the Johnny O'Connell stage 1 kit, currently I have Michelin PS 4S 275/18's, in the front and 305/19's in the rear. I am looking for a street and track coil over. I would like to stay under 2K, looking for suggestions.

Unless your going to a fully adjustable coil over system, including shocks that have fully adjustment able as well, Plus the skill to set the suspension correctly for each track needs, your just wasting your money on a coil over set up in the first place.

I disagree, huge advantage over the stock leafs in ride quality and general street use... I agree you need to have the car set up properly (i.e. corner balanced) but the difference will be noticeable. So under 2k you pretty much have 3 options OP. Silvers, BC Racing, or Aldans... From my research Aldan seems to be the best, silver shortly behind them, and BC while still good, not as good. Shop around though, I got lucky and picked up a set of LG G2s on ebay lightly used for 1500... their out there if you look. Currently in the process of getting mine set up as well. I think with the existing setup you have the coilover will be a nice addition. Best of luck! I've drove a friends car on BC's and I can assure you, even the cheapest ones are worth every penny. You wont be disappointed.
I installed a set of coilovers on the rear only of my supercharged GS in order to have an easy way to set the rear ride height and get the car to launch a little better with drag radials ... Works perfect for that !
As far as anything else on a car that is not tracked (like my GS), I think coilovers are a waste of money .. And I see no improvement of the overall ride, no matter what I adjust the compression and rebound settings to.
I went with BC's they are all I needed. I do not track but will drag, got rid of some rattles and extra parts & weight along the way!! Good Luck...........
My concern, especially if you live in an area with really crappy roads like the NE or NW USA, is that area of the lower A-arm isn't really designed to carry both the spring loads and the shock loads.
