C6 Base Vararam
Thinking about adding the Vararam snake charmer. All stock except axle back Corsa extreme. My question is will it throw any codes and does a tune need to happen with it. Any Other pro/cons. I am aware of the potential hydro lock as a con.

no, it doesn't actually put any more air into the car, it just makes it easier for your car to suck in the air. Better flow leads to better performance. You shouldn't get any codes if everything is installed properly.

I installed the newer style Vararam in my Z51 optioned 2006, with the precut shroud, silcone hose before the MAF and the silicone hose to replace the accordion before the throttle body. No codes, and no tuning required.
