Anyone in here done a glide swap in a c6, looking for opinions on a gear ratio for a glide with a 9”. How’s cursing at highway speeds etc

Considering this swap in the future as well. The good thing about the 9” over the OEM Diff housing is of course strength, but also the ability to have a lot more gear ratios to choose from. I would think a higher gear set could improve drivability/street ability a decent amount. The days of blasting down the freeway at 75-80 mph for 100+ miles is probably over once you go to a glide, but completely doable on shorter spirited trips around the block. Hopefully you’ll get some valid responses, curious as well.

Might consider moving this thread to the Forced Induction section. A lot of guys over there have done the swap already & may have some advice or answers.
