I know old thread, but my issue is pertinent and i think it's good to keep information altogether, so bumping to the top.

I recently replaced my fuel pump:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...el-pump-2.html

Using this fuel pump from Racetronix:
https://www.racetronix.biz/k/fuel-pu...rmance/tu475-1

Car fired up and all was going well until I saw the level was not reading correctly. I filled up the tank, but it's only showing about 80% full and frequently throws a "P2066 Fuel Level Sensor b performance" code. I can reset the code and functionality returns, but still incorrect. Then it fails again.

I contacted Racetronix and while they were helpful, I just got what I think is a canned response that the PS sender dies from low fuel and high sulphur and not be submerged becuase it emplties first, try techron, etc. Now this is a clearly a right sender issue since it's sensor b, so I don't want anyone taking this as a poor review of Racetronix. They were great to work with and have a very well priced product that works, so far at least.

I just find it waaaaay to coincidental that the right side sender fails right after pump and sender replacement. Is there something I don't know that I should try? I did have a full tank when I empited the left side tank to replace the pump/sender. And i was only able to put 5 gallons back after so I did have a condition where the right side likely had more fuel than the left.

And yes, I did make sure to order the 2007+ sender with the unit.

Thanks everyone.

Bumping again. I've convinced myself that I'm just going to replace the right side sender. I'm in the process of fixing as many known chassis deficiencies as possible. Oil pan seal is done. Harmonic balancer is done. Might as well do this too.

Just wanted some opinions on this from trusted other owners. I still find it waaaaay too coincidental that the right side sender failed right when I replaced the left side pump and sender.

I guess one could also argue that the sender and pump failing makes sense, and that this is like replacing headlights...one is not far behind the other? Thoughts?

Just bit the bullet and replaced fuel level sensor b with OEM GM replacement. Old one ohmed very poorly, 0 below about half tank and weird numbers above. The brushes on the outer track were all worn off. I guess pump and sensor failure are not far apart after all.
