Question about Power Steering line replacement
On an 06 LS2, is it easier to replace the power steering lines/hoses with the car up on a lift? Coming from underneath? Looks like a big PIA doing with car on the ground and working from topside.
Or will it be a combination if both?

I just did this on my ls7. Imo the best way is to take the alternator, ps reservoir, ps pump, and bracket all out from the top then pull the lines out from underneath. I would have rather had a lift but on my back I was able to finesse it all out.

No, especially since now I know how to do it I could probably do it in half the time now. The job itself is super easy and straight forward. The hard parts are the leaning over the fender, and getting your hands into tight spaces. If you can deal with that and have some patience you'll be fine. My back was a little sore for about a day but it was nice saving the money.
