It was just some spare anodized aluminum tubing I had laying around. Any pipe larger than your 6" bolt will work just fine.

Thanks. I ordered a bit of aluminum thick walled tube with a 10mm hole. It arrived today. I will start mocking up the length of the tube as you did. So finally, what are those fittings you used? There are no? Are you using those fittings at the engine end of the tubes?
