Traction control button not working
Took apart center console to investigate what I thought was an issue with my MGW shifter. Unplugged the traction control connection without issue but had a bear of a time getting it back in. I thought I had seated correctly and put it back together....button not working, and doesn't even recede into the well when I push it. Took it back apart and tried again....same result. Button doesn't push down and nothing happens. Any ideas?

I took mine apart and cleaned it because it wasn’t working but that was because they were corrosion on the contact points. But it went together pretty straightforward. Sounds like there’s just something wrong with the assembly of it.
