CEL after can install????
Just had a cam done by a relatively highly recommended shop. Car drove fine for 2 days, I have been babying it. 2 days after driving and I’m at a red light, feel a thud like someone hit me, look down and have a check engine light. Start driving some and car won’t shift into second, can’t go above 30mph of course on the busiest of roads. Check the codes and have P0700, P219A and P0716. Am I SOL? Anyone else had this happen?

Those p07xx codes indicate an issue with the transmission position sensor.The other codes shows afr issues with bank 1.If you have a scanner look at the shifter position sensor data.

Sounds like it’s not a “cam swap then cel” but more of a “thud then cel.”
probably related to the cam swap but maybe not.
pull a valve cover or two and see if anything stands out before running it anymore.

Although it's likely just a coincidence that it happened right after the cam it might be possible something in your tune got changed incorrectly.
