Default Throttle Position Sensor

My 2007 C6 with LS2 lit a check engine light, bad TPS. I had it replaced, but now the throttle doesn't want to return to idle quickly, sticking at about 1100 RPM before slowly calming down. The shop said they replaced it with another new one, but the problem persists. What can I do?

May need to go through a throttle relearn procedure. See information contained in the attached post, worth a try. Also, the shop should have informed you of any needed relearn steps, as most of the newer electronically controlled cars require the same.

Good luck...GD

Is the TPS sensor that was replaced OEM or aftermarket ??…trouble codes are not part numbers !!…an idle learn should be done !!
