I know it has been discussed on this forum. But I just wanted to check on what you guys think. Is it all that it is cranked up to be. Worth the $.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Apparently the Solar Throttle Controller is a superior product

This corvette guy at a show was telling me “I had to get one, it made his car so much faster”. I’m thinking to myself 100% throttle is 100% throttle, not gaining anything other than pedal response.

It does not make the car faster. It does improve throttle response. I like it. I also makes it easier for me to get the revs where I want staging at the dragstrip.

just have your tuner remap the throttle, it's like it is for a reason but you can change it.

If you live places or dont want to pay for a tune yes get one it greatly increases response time of you pedal. I got one before tune and love it. Wife 4runner came with one also. It is like day/night turn it back to normal and you can feel the differance.

Now I have been told that yes a tuner can remap the throttle map but also if they go to far it will brick you car's computer.
These are 100% safe. Can be removed without any issue.. This should also pass any emission testing

The only hard part is getting down there to the pedal to install. Not at lot of room. I removed my pedal made it a little easier

I think it is a waste. If you want a more sensitive throttle, it will do that for you.

But I think, a better value with actual performance increase would be a good dyno tune even if your car is stock.
