Trying to flush my power steering fluid and I can't for the life of me get this spring clip that holds the return line onto the reservoir. Is there a trick? It is driving me nuts!!
I definitely damaged the clip while trying to get it off already so I'm going to need to replace it with a host clamp when I reinstall. Any ideas??
There's nothing tricky about that spring clip circled in red. You just need a long needle-nosed plier. It may help to rotate that clamp on the hose a little to get better access with your plier.
If I were flushing the system, I would just suck the fluid out of the reservoir rather than remove the hose to drain the fluid.
